You may have seen the viral videos of my daughter on her 10th birthday speaking out against ICE cruelty at Delaney Hall after her father was unlawfully detained. I’ve been speaking out in the media as well to raise awareness of the cruel and inhumane conditions within Delaney Hall. I never thought I’d find myself in this position, but I am reaching out during the most painful and overwhelming chapter of our lives after my husband was detained on March 26, 2026 in Bridgeton, New Jersey. As you can see in the video, they smashed the windows of our attorney’s car, and are acting outside of the law. Yet I, as a mom of three, need to operate within it. We have spent tens of thousands in legal fees already. My husband’s sudden absence has left an enormous void in our home emotionally, but it has also plunged our family into a severe and immediate financial crisis. I’ve been at Delaney as much as possible where I’ve been hit with rubber bullets and I have been pepper sprayed directly into my eyes Together, my husband and I have three beautiful children who depend entirely on us. Right now, our primary focus is the health of our child, who is 6 years old and currently on a ventilator machine due to severe sleep apnea, , Managing his medical needs is an around-the-clock battle; in addition to the ventilator, he fights epilepsy, which requires constant vigilance, specialized care, and the support of his service dog. Without my husband’s income and presence, the weight of this world has fallen entirely on my shoulders. I am doing everything I can to keep our family afloat, but the expenses are piling up at a terrifying pace without my husband’s income. We are falling behind and drowning in I am a proud mother, and it is incredibly hard to ask for help, but I am doing this for the survival and well-being of my children. We are struggling to make ends meet, and any little thing can help ease this burden while we figure out our next steps. If you are able to donate, please know that no amount is too small—every single dollar will go directly toward keeping a roof over our heads, food in our kitchen, and my son's medical needs covered. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our story with your network.
