This family and their four daughters have experienced a tragedy that no family should ever have to endure. In a devastating act of domestic violence, one of the daughters lost her life, another is currently fighting for hers in the hospital, and the other two are left trying to process something no child should ever have to witness.

Everything about their lives changed in a matter of moments.

A mother is now grieving the loss of her daughter while sitting beside another in critical condition, holding onto hope. At the same time, she is trying to stay strong for her two other daughters who are carrying fear, confusion, and heartbreak that no words can fully explain.

These girls are young. They should be worrying about school, friends, and growing up. Not trying to understand loss, violence, and trauma.

My name is Kevin, and I am the son of Ana, who is a close friend of the girls’ mother. I created this fundraiser on behalf of their family because I’ve seen how deeply this has impacted them, and they should not have to face this alone.

All funds raised will be given directly to [Jennifer Macapagal], the girls’ mother. The money will go toward funeral expenses for her daughter, medical bills for her daughter who is still fighting for her life, and basic living expenses as the family tries to survive during this unimaginable time.
