Hello I am making this post on the behalf of my cousin, Navjit, and her two children, Sukhreet and Arjun, the Sanghas.

Navjit’s husband, Jogeshwar, was involved in a trucking accident on July 15th. On his second day of his route for work in Redding, he realized he could not continue due to a leak from his truck. When he stopped to take a look under his truck, the coolant pipe suddenly bursted and spilled the hot liquid all over him which caused major third degree burns all over his upper body. Fortunately, there were others at the truck stop who helped him out from under his truck and he was airlifted to UC DAVIS Hospital.

He has had multiple surgeries to help repair the burns to his upper body, but has been in critical condition since he was admitted, and has not shown much signs of improvement. He has experienced multiple seizures and slight paralyzation in his arms and hands since then. He is currently on dialysis and undergoing constant tests for treatment. We are continuing to pray and support him during this time of intense recovery.

At home, his young children aged 3 and 6 are anxiously worried about their father. They are both having a hard time understanding what is going on due to their special needs, but know they haven’t seen their dad in weeks.

My cousin, Navjit, does not work as their children need constant care and attention to help with their development. Her husband is the main source of income for their family and this incident has caused a lot of stress and uncertainty for their family. We are asking for any help at all to help with the costs of Jogeshwar’s recovery and support of their family.

15 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਰੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਚੈੱਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਟਰੱਕ ਦੇ ਨੀਚੇ ਵੜ ਗਏ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੂਲੈਂਟ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਾਈਪ ਫੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਾਈਪ ਫਟਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਗਰਮ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰ ਦਾ 40 %ਹਿੱਸਾ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੜ ਗਿਆ ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਮੜੀ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਪਰਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੜ ਗਏ

ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਰੱਕ ਹੇਠੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਇੰਨੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਰੈਡਿੰਗ ਚ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੰਭਵ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਲੀਕਾਪਟਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਯੂ ਸੀ ਡੇਵਿਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਸੈਕਰਾਮੈਂਟੋ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ

ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅਫਸੋਸ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਇਲਾਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੱਬੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਟ੍ਰੋਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਡਾਇਲਸਿਸ ਵੀ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਾਜੁਕ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ

ਉਸਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਤੇ ਦੋ ਬੱਚੇ ਹਨ ਬੱਚੀ ਨੂੰ Autism ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਕਵਰ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਆ ਬਹੁਤ ਟਾਈਮ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਣਾ ਆ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਾ ਔਖਾ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸਾਧਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ
