Thanks to the support already received, along with money I’ve personally saved, I was able to secure a vehicle and begin moving forward with a new direction for this project. After a lot of thought, I decided to turn this opportunity into something long-term and community driven by launching M.A.D Mobile, a mobile anime, manga, and trading card game event experience.

The current fundraising goal for M.A.D Mobile is $3,500. These funds will help fully launch the first operational version of the business and allow me to begin hosting local anime and trading card game events around Fairborn and Greene County.

Approximately $500 will go toward business startup costs including licensing, vendor registration, business materials, payment processing setup, and initial event fees.

Around $900 will be used for the physical event setup including folding tables, chairs, canopy tents, banners, signage, lighting, storage equipment, and supplies needed to create a comfortable and professional play area for tournaments and learn-to-play sessions.

Roughly $1,200 will go directly into inventory including starter decks, booster packs, manga, sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, sealed snacks and drinks, and beginner friendly products for people learning games like Pokémon and One Piece.

Approximately $400 will be invested into marketing and community growth including social media promotion, printed materials, QR signage, content creation equipment, and local advertising to help build awareness and attendance at events.

The remaining funds will be reserved for transportation, restocking popular inventory, emergency operating costs, and working with a financial/accounting professional to help ensure the business is launched responsibly and sustainably.

The goal is to use this funding to create a fun, welcoming, beginner friendly space that introduces more people to anime, manga, and trading card games while building a strong local community around the hobby.
