Today at 5am, my father gave his last breath and is resting. We find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. Thank you to everyone for supporting my family.

It is with great pain that I write this plea on behalf of my family. Almost three years ago, my father was a victim of aggravated assault on his way back home from work. The damage he sustained was grave to his head, leaving him with permanent brain damage.

Recently, last month, he started complaining about headaches, and then came 7 seizures back to back, leaving him in a fragile state. The doctors and medical professionals did everything they could for the last 2 years and 10 months to keep him here with us, but they can't do anything anymore.

My father is in his last moments of life. He is having a breathing crisis and needing oxygen and morphine at very high levels.

My mother and I have been running my dad's auto repair shop, but with him being in the hospital and us needing to pay for so many things, we do not have the complete money to cover his burial and funeral expenses.

After evaluating all the options, the most viable one is repatriating his body to our family in Mexico, where his parents and sisters will receive him and say their goodbyes.

I am here once again asking you for your support and help in this very difficult time of my family's lives. I wish this wasn't real, but it is, and I am so grateful to God for his grace and mercy. My father was a great man, and it was a blessing that he was my father for the time gifted to me.
