On Sunday night, our lives were turned upside down when my husband’s dad — a father, husband, and hardworking lineman — suffered a major heart attack. He’s been in the ICU ever since, currently on life support, battling multiple complications including organ failure. His condition is extremely critical, and we are navigating each day hour by hour with faith and hope.

He’s the kind of man who shows up — not just for his family, but for his entire community. As a lineman, he’s spent years working tirelessly to keep the power on through storms and emergencies. Even outside of work, he’s always the first to lend a helping hand when someone needs it. He’s never asked for anything in return — but now, he needs our help more than ever.

He is still on life support in the ICU, and there’s no clear timeline for recovery. What we do know is that he won’t be able to return to work anytime soon — and as the primary income provider for his family, this creates an unimaginable burden.
