I have been taking care of my father for 5 years. It has been hard, but the love of my father and what I do is worth it. I am a very proud person who never thought he would need to do this, but the time has come where I need financial assistance. He is currently in rehab, and we do not know what the future will hold once he gets out. What I do know is that as a caregiver who is unable to get financial assistance from federal entities or the state, it's just too hard for me to do on my own. The hope is that after he can be more independent, I will be able to go back to work and have my own income to pay my own bills and medical costs. I ask that you donate anything you can. Our goal may seem high, but I can tell you it is very small for what we need. My hope is to raise enough money to get us through the next couple of months.
