Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

On the solemn occasion of New Year's Eve, we find ourselves grappling with the loss of our beloved father, who was a Palestinian refugee from Lebanon and passed away after a year-long battle with multiple health complications. With heavy hearts, we turn to you, our community, for support during this challenging time.

Our father, who devoted his life to providing for his family, unfortunately, did not have the means to secure life insurance or accumulate savings. As a refugee in Canada, he faced numerous challenges, but he remained resilient, and Faught hard to be able to spend more time with his wife, four sons and two daughters, and to learn about his grandchildren.

After spending nearly, a year as an inpatient in the Mississauga Hospital, his health complications reached a heartbreaking conclusion on New Year's Eve. We want to thank all the hard working and compassionate Nurses, Doctors, and Patient Support Staff who cared tirelessly for our family during this difficult time. We are left not only with the grief of his departure but also with the financial burden of arranging a proper farewell for him.

We humbly ask for your support in raising funds to cover the funeral costs and give our father the dignified send-off he deserves. Your contributions will help alleviate the financial strain on our family during this difficult time and ensure that we can honor his memory with the respect and love he deserves.
