As if the initial trauma wasn’t enough, this brave boy continues to fight. After an initial infection was discovered while removing sutures, he was readmitted for two weeks to undergo IV antibiotic treatments, with sedation twice weekly. With the help of PALS, a local organization, he and his mother were flown to Trinidad for more specialized care. A vac bandage has been placed on his arm, and ongoing treatments will be essential upon his return home to Saint Kitts.
