Hello Everyone,
I am 31 years old with two amazing daughters ages 6 & 8 that I could not imagine living a day without them. I am a proud Army wife and an awesome medical assistant. My best friend, my loving husband is deployed. It has been difficult not having him here to help it has been a struggle. My husband does as much as he can from far away. No one ever prepares you to get the news... In April 2025 I had a stroke and while still recovering I was diagnosed with (Polycythemia Vera). It is a rare blood cancer. Also, recently finding out I have two blood disorders factor 5 lieden and a low protein which means my blood is way to
thick and it’s having a harder time pumping blood through my body. On top of it all I was diagnosed with Lupus. With all these diagnosis I have a high risk chance of forming a pulmonary embolism, blood clots, stroke, heart attack, cancer could turn into Leukemia, organs can start failing. As my doctor said “Usually kidneys are the first ones to go and about 88% of people need a kidney transplant.” It has been difficult trying to accept this but one thing I am not is a quitter! I have also been “laid” off while I was on leave for work which I have had a hard time dealing with this. Due to the pot symptoms of the stoke and all the other medical conditions. This is not a post for you to feel sorry for me this is a post to be able to help lift such a heavy load. I have been struggling with bills that can only be pushed out for so long until you're way behind. This is a start of my journey, and I have researched medications and procedures that won't be fully covered. I am stressed out. Doing this on my own is hard but I keep my head held high and keep pushing because I have two girls who are watching me. I am asking if you are able to help in any way my family and I would greatly appreciate it. If you are not able to that is okay, just send positive energy towards us! Thank you for reading this. Live every day like it is your last. Be happy.
