Hello, I am a mother to a beautiful 1-year-old boy just asking for help and support. My son's life has just begun, but he has been through enough health issues to last a lifetime, and he has been so strong.

At 1 month old, he was diagnosed with 2 hernias. The inguinal hernia is where the intestines stick out of the pelvic wall. He has had two surgeries that were completed at 2 months and on 10/31/2025 at a year old by a surgeon in town, but they have failed.

He was also diagnosed with epilepsy at 5 months, which is now also showing his meds need to be increased because he recently had a seizure at daycare and continues to have them in his sleep still.

I am asking for help with him needing to go to a pediatric hospital 2 hours away for both conditions. With me fleeing domestic violence when he was just a month old and finally getting some stability in August, I am watching it all fade with having to call off work. Between my heart problems which beats at 20% faster paces mostly in my sleep and his health problems, I am falling behind on bills. Not having a car makes it no better, depending on means I don't have.

Now at 13months my baby has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart, after they canceled his surgery and pushing it out to Jan.and doing another sleep study for his epilepsy. After finding out he has speech regression and I am just starting to ask God why my baby.
