Dear family and friends. This past week my brother Omar and his families life was changed in an instant. In the days leading up to emergency visit, Omar began experiencing severe stomach pain . A ct scan showed an enlarged spleen and liver. After more test and overnight stays, Omar and his wife were given the shocking news that he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia

He was then transferred to a cancer hospital in Pasadena.

Instead of celebrating his 33rd birthday this coming up week with his family. He will be confined to a hospital bed starting chemo.

I’ve created this Gofund me to help ease the financial burden on his wife, Lizet, and their 1 year old son, Elijah, during such a difficult time. She will need to step away from work in order to focus on what matters most: supporting Omar’s fight against cancer without worrying how to keep up financially. He is facing a long road ahead with treatments, appointments, and the emotional toll that comes with fighting such a serious illness.
