Zyasia Guzman who is also know as "Lovey" was born developmentally delayed She eventually completed most milestones until the age of 2! Lovey became unbalanced with less coordination and developed epilepsy. Lovey slowly began to regress until she lost her abilities to do her normal activities. Lovey no longer walks, talks, she is Gtube fed and fully dependent on someone. She is 10 years old, 4'2 and weighs 72 pounds. She has been diagnosed with epilepsy, developmental delay, fragile bones & a possible mitochondrial disease that still cannot be proven. It has been by the grace of God this girl smiles beyond your imagination! Her smile brightens the darkest room. This young lady has already touched many lives including her family. Teaching us to continue to push forward and through the darkest moments always smile! We know God has a special plan for her and have faith and hope in his promises for her life that one day she will be able to gain the abilities she's had and more! Loveys Dr's in CHOP cannot explain what happened to cause Lovey to regress and still have no underline diagnose! How can you watch your little girl grow and do things and slowly lose them and it be beyond your control. its heart breaking! We will continue to fight to get her the best care and be her best advocates! Faith in God, Hope in God and our love for God keep us going! We are trying to raise funds to help with medical needs, such as equipment, medical bills etc. We would like to make Loveys care and life as easy as possible for all of us. As her parents we want only the best to care for her comfortably and such things cost lots of money. My husband and I are currently both employeed through our local public school system  but it is still not enough. We are reaching out for help to raise money to purchase her a handicap van. We need to be able to transport her safetly. Anything can help no matter the amount. We thank you and appreciate the support and prayers!!
