Our family’s world changed when our daughter JJ was diagnosed in June of 2025 with PH+MPAL,  a rare type of leukemia. The news was devastating, and since then, we’ve been doing everything we can to support her through this difficult journey. The treatments have been intense, and our days are filled with hospital visits, chemotherapy sessions, and moments of hope and worry. We are grateful for the support we received from our community during a local fundraiser in October 2025, but the reality is that this is a long road, and the challenges continue to grow.

To care for our daughter, my wife took a six-month unpaid leave of absence so she could be by her side whenever she was home and not in the hospital. My own work has been sporadic, as I’ve needed to make frequent trips to the medical center for her treatments and respond to emergencies caused by complications of both the disease and the treatment. These circumstances have made it difficult to keep up with our regular expenses, and the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.

We are asking for help to cover medical and related treatment expenses, as well as to support our housing and other living costs during this time.
