My name is Matthew, and I am currently facing one of the toughest challenges of my life. I was born with Chronic Kidney Disease, which has progressed to Stage 5 Kidney Disease, and as a result, I have had to start dialysis treatments. This has made it extremely difficult for me to continue working full time, due to health restrictions I had to close my pressure washing business, and it has become a real struggle to keep up with everyday expenses. Each week, I spend hours at the dialysis center receiving treatments, focusing on my health, and trying to stay strong, but the financial burden continues to grow while my ability to work full-time has changed but I am still trying to contribute and support my family and survive until I am able to receive a kidney transplant.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward my living expenses and transportation to and from my dialysis appointments, and to help me stay on my feet through the challenging upcoming months. They will also help cover other health related costs that have come up as a result of my illness. Your support will allow me to focus on my health and recovery without the constant worry of how I will manage financially during this time.

I know times are tough for a lot of people right now, and asking for help is not easy. But being on a dialysis schedule and unable to work full time has made it challenging to keep up with life’s expenses and I have avoided asking for help because I don’t want to burden my friends but I have got to the point that I need help through this.
