This fundraiser has been created to support Suzanne and Maeve as they navigate the unimaginable loss of Grant—a devoted husband, loving father, and deeply cherished friend.
Grant’s battle with cancer began in 2017 when he was diagnosed and treated for thyroid cancer. In 2021, he faced an additional rare and aggressive form of the disease, leading him to seek specialized treatment at MD Anderson in Houston.
Then, in the spring of 2024, the unthinkable happened—Grant was diagnosed with yet another aggressive cancer, Glioblastoma. This second diagnosis was devastating and remains shocking to us all. Over the past ten months, Grant fought with unwavering strength and resilience. He endured multiple surgeries, chemotherapy treatments, immunotherapy, and countless procedures, all while maintaining his kindness, positivity, and determination to live life to the fullest. Despite his relentless fight, in the past month, the brain cancer spread, leaving him with no further treatment options.
Thankfully, Grant was able to return from Houston to Maryland, where he spent his final days at home on hospice, embraced by love. Suzanne and Maeve are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from family and friends, whose generosity ensured that Grant was surrounded by care and comfort.
As Suzanne and Maeve begin to navigate life without Grant, we hope to rally around them in the same way Grant always showed up for others—with love, generosity, and kindness.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden during this difficult time and provide them with the space to grieve and heal.
Thank you for your love, support, and generosity.
