Brittane and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time. Her son Eli, who has profound autism, experienced a bad meltdown yesterday that resulted in a perforated trachea. He was airflown to Baptist hospital and is currently on a ventilator. Eli also suffered a small hemorrhage under his skull and has chest tubes in place. The family is doing everything they can to support Eli through this medical emergency, but the situation has been overwhelming.

Eric, Brittane’s husband, has been out of work for a while due to Eli’s ongoing medical issues. With four other children to care for, the family is managing a lot right now. They are doing their best to stay strong and support each other through this crisis.
