Allora is my niece, and she is a single mother who was just getting back on her feet when her world changed overnight. Her oldest daughter, Eliza—my great niece who is 9 years old—was rushed to the ER. They thought Eliza was having a severe asthma attack, but doctors discovered her lung had collapsed because of tumors throughout her body. Eliza is still in the PICU, awaiting treatment and facing the difficult journey of chemotherapy. Allora is doing everything possible to support her daughter through this unimaginable time.
Allora lives an hour away from the hospital and doesn’t have a reliable car to make the long trips back and forth. Despite these challenges, she is determined to be by Eliza’s side every step of the way. The financial strain is overwhelming, with medical bills piling up and the need for a dependable vehicle to ensure Eliza never misses a treatment. On top of that, Allora is waiting for her FMLA leave funds to come in, making it even harder to stay afloat.
Any support means the world to us. Allora is scared and worried and never thought in a million years she would be here. Your kindness and generosity will help them get through this incredibly tough time, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can offer.
