Hello. This is an extremely hard thing for me to do as I never thought I would find us in this situation. Asking for help makes me feel embarrassed and ashamed that I am not able to take care of this in my own. However, in July of 2023 our (then) 6 year old son (now 7) was diagnosed with a brain tumor the size of a tennis ball. This was completely unexpected and we stayed in childrens mercy for two weeks while he under went two brain surgeries. They were unable to remove all of the tumor as it attached itself to his brain stem. In November we found out that the tumor had doubled in size since august and that meant one thing, chemo. We started our chemo journey December of last year and have been doing it since. My son is the strongest boy I know. Still smiling and still powering through. He had had some difficulties with chemo and we’ve had to switch some things around and have a pretty extensive dental surgery due to it. The goal is that the chemo will dissolve the tumor. We have one full year of chemo to see if it works. The medical bills are piling up and we are a one income home as I cannot find work due to the extensive doctors appointments and the availability I would have (I was let go from my job last year due to it). If anyone could help us I would really appreciate it. If you can’t, that’s ok. It’s hard to live and provide for your family. Prayers, good vibes and well wishes are all we would ask for then. We are now currently struggling to pay bills on time and give our kiddos (we also have a 4 year old) the life they truly deserve. We would like to get caught up in bills so that we don’t have to worry about things anymore. This money would go to helping with that and paying for his medical needs to come. We now have to get ankle braces, special shoes and pay for tests to see if he is having silent seizures. Thank you for your consideration and have a beautiful and kind day.
