On July 4th 2020, I was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, chronic phase and had to begin daily chemotherapy. (Go me! I made it through 5 YEARS of daily chemotherapy !!)

For the last 5 years I have not been able to work any job or earn myself a stable income. Despite the daily challenges of having cancer and taking daily chemotherapy, I have pushed through every challenge with as much grace and strength I can muster. Unfortunately, I can’t pay bills with muster… I am currently on the highest dose available of daily oral chemotherapy and still cannot provide for myself.

I currently do not have stable support to pay for any of my expenses, this includes veterinary care for Peanut (my Siberian Husky with health concerns), housing, and transportation. I am in the process of requesting more/ additional benefits from the state and federal government (Social Security, Food Stamps, etc.).

For those that know me, you know I wouldn’t ask for help if I didn’t truly need it. I just don’t know what else to do.
