Why am I doing this?

I am a firm believer that nobody should have to wonder when their next meal should be, but unfortunately that is the fate of millions of people every single year. I want to reduce that number by as much as I can.

I also believe that you have to be the change you want to see in the world; we are in tough times but in tough times I believe that love can still shine through. I may not be able to accomplish my goal of helping those in need by myself, but with the help of my friends and community, there is no goal too big.

Growing up as a kid who lived off of food bank boxes and government food assistance, this cause is pretty sentimental to me. If there’s anything that experience has taught me, it’s that a little help goes a long way. Any contribution to this goal, no matter how big or how small, is another helping hand!
