Support Floyd's Recovery and Housing Needs

My name is Stuart and I have a dear friend named Floyd. I have known Floyd for 20 years. Floyd moved to Murfreesboro, TN a little over a year ago from California after losing his home of 25 years. All was going well until a few weeks ago when, due to no fault of his own, he lost his place to live. Floyd has been living in his Dodge Journey with his service dog, Zuse, since Saturday, 6/28. On 6/29, he was admitted to a local hospital with severe abdominal pain, which ended up being his gallbladder. Monday, he had surgery to remove it. After recuperating for two days in the hospital, Floyd was released this afternoon, back to his SUV.

Floyd has no income. He applied for social security two and a half years ago and is still waiting. He has been placed on a waiting list for emergency housing, but that list is long. Please help my friend with getting a safe, stable place to live for him and his four-legged companion, Zuse.
