UPDATE 3/29/25 RESCUE FOUND - New Beginnings for Cats in Bourbonnais, IL has accepted Flow. I will personally be transporting Flow to IL to this wonderful organization who stepped up! New Beginning has both a separate spacious FIV room with enclosed catio and a dedicated cottage for FeLV cats.

This GoFundMe is to cover his upward of $2,500 in cost I have incurred for his rescue (I have attached vet bills)

Flow' Story

Flow is a 2-3 year old petite 8lb very affectionate, gentle and sweet neutered male black cat with beautiful green eyes. He is so loving and friendly and loves pets and to give headbuts. He was recently taken in for TNVR from one of my colonies where he was recently dumped and was very scared and struggling to acclimate to the colony and street life. During neuter recovery, we realized that he is in fact a very sweet cat who loves human touch.

As part of the process of getting him vetted for rescue and transport out of South Florida, his SNAP was FIV+ and the vet recommended euthanasia. I could not go through with that and decided to fight for him as I know FIV+ kitties can have a long happy life if in a safe, stress free environment. I therefore made the choice to opt out of euthanasia and start a diligent search for a rescue or home for Flow.

Through the power of social media for good and the nation wide rescue community, I was able to secure a commitment from a New Beginnings Cat Rescue in Bourbonnais, IL.
