My name is Kathy and my best friend of over 40 years, Flo, is fighting one of the hardest battles of her life. She was recently diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare illness that suddenly took away her ability to walk. She’s now in a rehabilitation center, working so hard every single day to regain her strength and independence.

Flo has the biggest heart and the most infectious laugh. She’s always been the one to lift others up — she’s been there for me and my children through everything, no questions asked. Now it’s our turn to lift her up.

Flo is so strong, and I know her strength will bring her through this. But her recovery will take time, and she can’t work right now. I’m asking for help to ease some of the financial stress — to cover her medical care, rehab, and basic living expenses while she focuses on healing.
