Hello, I'm Flor and I'm a breast cancer survivor and first I'd like to tell you a little bit of my story. On February 22, 2024 they gave me bad news that changed my life completely, they found cancer in my right breast and I never had symptoms or anything until one normal day I went to have a mammogram done and that's when they detected it unfortunately. It was something very hard but thank God my family was always with me. I have 2 sons and a daughter and 3 granddaughters who were with me at all times along with my mom and the rest of the family. I’m still trying to survive through this long journey , Right now I’m receiving chemotherapy so this cancer won’t come back because on June 24 I finished with my radiations

Since I’m not all finish for me to get to finding a job I want to ask for help so I can have an opportunity to get a breast reconstruction. whatever helps even just sharing this so it can get to more people

I just want to feel complete again and be able to see myself in the mirror once again and be happy with myself this is something more than vanity, I want to be well mentally & physically

Hola, soy Flor y soy una sobreviviente de cáncer de mama y primero me gustaría contarte un poco de mi historia. El 22 de febrero de 2024 me dieron malas noticias que cambiaron mi vida por completo, encontraron cáncer en mi pecho derecho y nunca tuve síntomas ni nada hasta que un día normal fui a hacerme una mamografía y fue entonces cuando lo detectaron desafortunadamente. Fue algo muy difícil, pero gracias a Dios mi familia siempre estuvo conmigo. Tengo 2 hijos, una hija y 3 nietas que estuvieron conmigo todo el tiempo junto con mi madre y el resto de la familia. Todavía estoy tratando de sobrevivir a este largo viaje, ahora mismo estoy recibiendo quimioterapia para que este cáncer no vuelva porque el 24 de junio terminé con mis radiaciones

Ya que no he terminado con todo este proceso aun no puedo buscar un trabajo, quiero pedir ayuda para poder tener la oportunidad de hacerme una reconstrucción mamaria. Lo que sea que ayuda , incluso solo compartir esto para que pueda llegar a más personas

Solo quiero sentirme completa de nuevo y poder verme en el espejo una vez más y ser feliz conmigo misma, esto es algo más que vanidad, quiero estar bien mental y físicamente
