My colleague's daughter, Florina Dragovic, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with metastasis to her bones, liver, and lymphatic system in May of 2021. She has been in ongoing treatments ever since November 19, 2021. She underwent a left femur transplant due to the damage the cancer has done to her bones. Now she is dealing with a new tumor on her left jaw bone. The pain and challenges of the disease have made her unable to work, and nearly impossible for her to keep up with medical bills. The doctors are amazed she is still alive. Florina has been battling cancer for 4 years. Her family has given her so much love and strength to help her fight and live a quality life.

Florina has a small dog named Peanut. She is a Shih Tzu Havanese, a 13-pound little girl. She came into her life unexpectedly in December of 2021, and she has been her lifeline ever since.
