My name is Nathan from the state of PA in the US and my fiancée, Floresa, and her family live in Bohol, Philippines. The Philippines have been hit with a couple of typhoons in the last couple of months. Most have caused minimal damage to their property, but the last one, Typhoon Verbena, destroyed Floresa's father, Florente's two boats and all his nets. He has been a fisherman for over 30 years, and this is his only livelihood. To buy another boat is at least $500, and one net is around $600. All I am asking is if anyone can help him get back on his feet to be able to fish again. Remember, give a man a fish and you feed him for the day... give a man a boat and net and feed him for a lifetime. Thank you for your help.
