On Dec 23rd, 2016 my family and I were given the unexpected news that I have terminal leukemia and weeks to live.
Over the past weeks I have had the wonderful opportunity to talk with so many people who have touched my life.
I had hoped that my diagnosis would be the first day of the rest of my life, but things have advanced much faster than expected.
Many have asked if there is anything they can do for me and my family.
At this point, what would be most helpful is financial assistance to support the efforts by my family to care for me, prepare for my end of life, and create opportunities to celebrate (whether in person or in spirit) with the many special people I have crossed paths with.
With love,
Florence
