Hi, my name is Tasheona, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible mother, Flora Franklin Fray, and our family during one of the most heartbreaking seasons of our lives.

My mother, Flora, is a strong, beautiful woman who spent her life caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She loved her patients deeply and built lifelong friendships with her coworkers. She lived to serve — not just as a nurse but as a mother, sister, and friend to many.

Nearly four years ago, our world changed when my mom suffered a stroke that ended her ability to work.

Unfortunately, her health has continued to decline. In October 2024, she was hospitalized for two months with serious complications, and again in February 2025. This past week, we received devastating news: her heart is failing in four major areas, and her kidneys are also shutting down. Doctors have shared that there are no more treatment optionsavailable, and she is now receiving care at a local hospice house.

Through all this, we have held on to faith, believing in God’s power to heal and His perfect will. We continue to trust Him, but we are also preparing for the possibility that God may be calling her home.

I am humbly asking for help with:

• Loss of income: I have not been able to work as I’ve devoted myself to caring for her full-time.

• Final arrangements: Sadly, my mother was denied disability benefits and does not have life insurance. We are seeking support to ensure she receives the dignity she deserves in her final rest.
