We are Vietnam Local Adventures and Vietnam Updates — two community-driven platforms dedicated to sharing Vietnam’s culture, people, landscapes, and everyday stories with the world.

In recent weeks, severe storms and prolonged heavy rainfall have caused serious flooding and damage in several parts of Vietnam. After careful consideration, we have decided to focus our relief efforts solely on two of the hardest-hit areas: Phú Yên and Đắk Lắk provinces.

Rather than distributing aid through intermediaries, we will go directly to the affected communities and personally hand over support to the families impacted by the storms. This approach allows us to ensure that help reaches the right people in a timely and transparent way.

The funds raised will be used to:

Provide direct financial assistance to families who suffered severe losses

Purchase and distribute essential supplies

Support households most affected by flooding, landslides, and property damage

While we will continue to coordinate with local authorities and community leaders to identify the areas and families most in need, all aid will be delivered in person by our team.

A clear breakdown of how funds are used

Photos and documentation from the on-the-ground distribution

Every contribution—no matter the size—helps bring relief, dignity, and hope to families as they begin to rebuild their lives.
