Many in the Southeast know Rev David and Peggy Simmons. This fundraiser is to help them pick up the pieces from the flood that ravaged their home in late September. In their own words: So it breaks our heart to share that our home we loved so much was severely damaged during the recent flooding from Helene. The picture shows how high the water level was outside and as you can imagine, damage inside. We are happy to report we are both safe and thankful that we have family to stay with while we make decisions about our future. We have very limited cell service so if you try to reach out we may not be able to respond. We covet your prayers, but please pray for our whole community- there are many who have lost everything.
