Between now and the Lunar New Year, I invite you to join me in supporting Flex Kids Culture as we continue our vital work. For more than 150 years, Chinese immigrants have lived, worked, and contributed to Santa Cruz County—yet so many of their stories of courage, hardship, resilience, and community-building remain untold or at risk of disappearing.
Today, Flex Kids Culture is launching a historic community initiative to preserve, honor, and celebrate the legacy of Chinese immigrants in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and the greater Bay Area.
Your generosity will help us build exhibitions, collect oral histories, document family stories, and develop cultural programs that bring people together across generations.
