One dive changed everything.

My cousin Flavia Bueno, a 35-year-old nutritionist and personal trainer, suffered a devastating spinal injury after hitting her head on a sandbar. Her life has always been surrounded with exercise, health, and helping others better themselves. Now she is in a coma and has already undergone two critical surgeries to reconstruct her spine and neck. Doctors say she has a high risk of permanent paralysis.

Flavia has no health insurance. She remains in a private ICU, with medical costs already exceeding $200,000+ and rising every day. She cannot yet be transferred to a public hospital because her life is still at risk.
