What started as a dream for us, became a community.

Over the past five years, your support has helped Flamingo Baby grow from a small independent restaurant into something truly special here in Brooklyn. We always knew this chapter would eventually come to an end, but never imagined that we wouldn’t be continuing in our current space.

Our lease coming to an end pushed us in ways we never imagined. Being complacent definitely has a way of confining you mentally & sometimes physically. Sometimes the very things we think are keeping us comfortable are actually keeping us from growing.

This major change forced us to confront a lot of uncertainty, but it also challenged us to think beyond what felt safe and familiar. Looking back now, we can see how change even when it’s uncomfortable can push you toward the growth you may have never chosen on your own.

Flamingo Baby was built with love, resilience, faith, and a community that continued to show up for us over and over again…LITERALLY! While it’s emotional to close this chapter, we KNOW that this transition is making room for something even greater.

Here’s where YOU come in.

We have secured our new home now we need help bringing it to life. Our final day at our current location is May 17th, and we are working against the clock to get the new space ready for our community.

We are raising $50,000 to cover buildout costs, kitchen equipment, permits, and deposits to get the doors open. Every dollar goes directly toward making that happen.
