Hi! My name is Jules Granger - I am the playwright and producer of Avrielle's Guide to Love & Lust (For the Misguided). We are raising funds to support our cast by providing costuming, lighting, set design, and marketing.

This show is a passion project for the team, as most of the cast members do not have the opportunity to perform during the school year since they are first-year students. We hope that with your help, we can collaborate and make this dream a reality.

This play is about connection. It was written to explore how people build each other up and tear each other down in pursuit of understanding this universal concept we all accept as “love.” Love, in its most real form, is a process of invention: we create universes inside one another, then mourn them when they collapse. The play lives in that moment of collapse. The shattering moment when tenderness and true feeling turn into memory.

Within The Verdigris Project, this work serves as our first act of dreaming. It embodies our belief that fragility is not weakness, but a reflection of our shared humanity and our connection. The audience is not and should never be asked to watch, but to breathe the same air as these characters. Avrielle’s Guide is not a love story; it is a call to remember the intimate moments that shape who we are and what we do, whether consciously or not.
