The Family Leadership Council’s First-Gen Committee is proud to support first-generation college students—trailblazers navigating higher education on their own terms and opening new doors for themselves and their families. While these driven and resilient students face unique financial barriers, our committee is committed to uplifting them and walking alongside their journey.

We’re raising funds to help cover the essentials and unexpected needs that fall outside of tuition: things like dorm linens, school swag, and emergency travel. These items may seem small to some, but they can make a big difference in helping students feel like they truly belong.

Many of the things others take for granted, like participating in campus events or traveling home for the holidays, are real hurdles for our first-gen students. Your gift helps us say: You belong here, and you’re not alone.
