Saving The Lives Of First Responders
Tax deductible
30-years ago, my husband, Columbus Police Sergeant Marc Muncy, was killed in the line of duty. My name is Rebecca Muncy-Brooks and as we come together this week to honor our nations' fallen heroes, I'm asking you honor Marc's memory by supporting the First Responders' Bridge. The Bridge is a non-profit organization providing life-saving support to active and retired first responders, along with their significant others, who are facing the challenges of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, or suicidal thoughts. More First Responders are dying by suicide than line of duty deaths and it's time we start saving our own.
Your support helps the First Responders' Bridge by:
- Providing confidential, expense free retreats for first responders and their significant others to begin their healing journey
- Breaking the mental health stigma by creating safe spaces for individuals to share their experiences and support each other.
- Connecting First Responders to mental health resources and services, including six free counseling sessions
Marc's Badge Number was 965. In honor of his memory, I'm asking you to help me raise $9650 to support the Bridge's mission to save the lives of those who save lives. Whether it's a one time donation, or $30/month to reflect the 30th anniversary of our family's loss, every donation will make a meaningful impact—together, we can help save lives.
