Emergency support for Roberta's cancer treatment

Donation protected
While on a walk Saturday afternoon, August 6, 2022, Firefly Olivia Walter was hit by a tram in Bremen, Germany. She suffered an acute subdural hematoma, a blood clot between the brain and the outer brain covering. Olivia is in stable but critical condition after a decompressive craniectomy, where they removed part of her skull to make room for the blood clot and brain swelling. Olivia is being kept in a medically induced coma for at least the next several days. She will have a new brain scan each day to assess her progress.

Oliva's parents, Thomas and Roberta Walter, and her brother, Aaron, have arranged to travel to Bremen this week to be with her. Last-minute flights from San Francisco, California, to Bremen, Germany, costs thousands of dollars per person. It is also uncertain how long they will require accommodations as they support Olivia's recovery in Germany.

This Go Fund Me campaign provides a place for Olivia's numerous family and friends to contribute to making sure that Thomas, Roberta and Aaron can be with her at this critical time. In addition, this fundraiser may also be used to provide a way for you to contribute to whatever care needs Oliva may have in the future.
