Hello, my name is Jaqueline and I am raising funds for my three year old cat, Finn The Cat. He was sent to the ER and will be hospitalized for today. He was supposed to be hospitalized for three days, we hoped we could manage to do that but turns out we could not. Crystals formed in his bladder causing a blockage. He had thrown up all his kibble, started spraying everywhere, and started bleeding with his spray while still struggling to pee for three days. He was in severe pain and discomfort and refused to drink water for but was luckily still eating. He needed to get some tubes attached to be able to be drained. He is being drained at a vet clinic and will need a new prescribed diet that will stick for the rest of his life, which upped the costs majorly from the original ER bill. This got to the point we could not cover for it. We need help raising enough to not only pay for the ER visit, but for the next three days in the vet clinic including his new diet.

Here’s a breakdown of how the funds will be used:

$2,000 will go toward paying off the emergency room visit and procedure

$3,000 will cover the next three days of hospitalization, his new prescription diet, medications, and extra necessities like:

A pet water fountain (he refuses to drink from regular bowls, which is dangerous for his condition)

This situation has been especially sensitive for me because I’ve been through something similar before. A few years ago, I had another cat who also required emergency hospitalization, but I couldn't afford the treatment at the time, and I had to make the painful decision to put her down. That loss still weighs heavily on me, and I’m terrified of it repeating itself. Currently, I am not employed and am focusing on my studies, which makes it even harder to cover these unexpected medical bills. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do it alone. Anything would help and would be greatly appreciated, it would mean the world to me and Finn.
