I adopted Finn and his bonded mate Lou in 2023 when my sister was no longer able to care for them. We adopted a kitten, Spencer, and together these three have spent the last 2 1/2 years lazing away in a kitty paradise.

Finn has been sick several times in the past few years and the vet has told me that I should make end of life arrangements. I got a quote from a vet who does at-home services. It will be $700 for the at home care and the cremation. This is a reasonable price for this area.

I don’t want Finn to die hiding under my bed or in a big, bright scary room. He helped me through the darkest time in my life and I owe him gentle, loving, pain free final moments. I want him to be with me and Caitlin (my roommate who has known Finn since 2018) and his mate Lou, and his son Spencer. The information I read said that it also helps the surviving pets to engage with the deceased pet after death because it helps them process the absence.

I have leaned on my friends a lot in the past few years. Your help has saved my life. I am back to work again and prospects are good but money has not caught up with reality yet and this is an emergency.
