Most of you have followed us over the last 3 or so weeks and have seen Finn’s story play out from bad to worse. What started as random but very severe nosebleeds led to the diagnosis of multiple myeloma close to three weeks later. We have already spent close to $10k between the ER vet, his primary vet visits/testing, and now the transfer to K-State. Normally, I wouldn’t do or ask this of anyone, but I know our fight is just beginning and my Finny boy deserves the best chance possible. He has been in the ICU at K-State since Monday, 4/27. He received a blood transfusion that evening. Tuesday, he underwent another ultrasound, X-ray, and additional bloodwork. On 4/30, he also had a bone marrow biopsy, which ultimately led to this MM diagnosis. We are now at 4 nights in the ICU and hoping to bring him home tomorrow pending the oncology consult and potential start of treatment. However, we still need to begin his chemo treatment/regime and constant check-up/follow-ups to come. Anything will help with the current and future costs. Please don’t feel inclined, but know that we appreciate any amount, and most importantly, all thoughts and prayers for our baby. ❤️ I can’t thank everyone enough.
