Hi everyone,

​My name is [asa karlstrom] and I am writing this as a mother who has seen her world turn upside down. My son, Filip Karlstrom, was only 28 years old when he suddenly suffered a major brain hemorrhage.

​Filip is a true fighter. Every single day, he shows incredible strength and determination to get back to life. However, the road has been very long and difficult. Along with the physical challenges, Filip lost his ability to speak due to the brain injury. Watching my son struggle to express himself has been heartbreaking, but we know the spark is still there.

​For a long time, we have fought tirelessly to get the help he needs here in Sweden, but the resources and support have not been enough. We have now found a specialized neuro-rehabilitation center in Spain that offers intensive training, including intensive speech therapy (logopedics). This is a unique opportunity for Filip to not only regain his physical strength but learn to speak better.

​To make this trip and the intensive treatment possible, we need your help. The costs for the treatment, specialized speech therapy, travel, and stay are high, and we cannot do this alone.

​The funds will go directly to:

​Intensive neuro-rehabilitation and speech therapy in Spain.

​Travel and specialized accommodation for Filip and his support.
