Many of you may know one or all of us Tindongans in the U.S., but much of our community, friends, and family, including our dad and sister, live in the Philippines.

In the wake of the category 5 typhoon in September, two earthquakes in October and now a category 3 and 4 typhoons within the same week, the Philippines has had no relief from these devastating weather events. This is cruelly exacerbated by the Philippines government doing nothing to help and further being exposed for their corruption of funds meant to be directed towards disaster infrastructure and flood relief, tens of thousands taking to the streets in protest. It cannot be called resilience when it is a perpetually forced state of survival.

Our family has been directly affected by typhoon Uwan earlier this month, and since we cannot be there to provide physical support, please share in our effort to offer what we can monetarily. Your contributions promise security in aid, food, and funds for rebuilding. Even within the immense grief, we pray that our loved ones and our whole country feel our solidarity and love.
