Hi everyone!We are the Filipino American Nurse Anesthesiology Society. This organization aims to unite nurse anesthetists and nurses to promote leadership, excellence, service, diversity, and collaboration. From February 22, 2026 to February 28, 2026, several FANAS members and volunteers from across the country will be in Narra, Palawan in the Philippines to provide much-needed medical and surgical care to the community. Health and environmental challenges include the February 2025 floods, a 2024 dengue outbreak, high rates of malaria cases, etc. There is a clear need to address public health concerns and access to healthcare services in this region. Our goal with this medical mission trip is to ultimately improve the long-term health of those in Narra, Palawan through education, health promotion, and community engagement.
