For the past five years, I have volunteered full-time to lead YessEthiopia, a nonprofit initiative dedicated to empowering young people across Ethiopia and the African diaspora. We’ve trained hundreds of students, supported job seekers, and built bridges of hope through education, leadership, and digital innovation—all with zero salary, driven by purpose.

Today, I’m taking the next step toward expanding this impact globally.

I’ve recently received a job offer in the U.S. and been approved for an Expedited OPT (Optional Practical Training) and Expedited EB Work Permit Visa. These opportunities will not only support my career growth but will also allow me to build stronger partnerships between Africa and the U.S., especially in the areas of youth development, agriculture, education, and ethical leadership.
