Fundraiser: Help Us Build a Rescue Whelping & Recovery Shed

Fierce Love Rescue is raising funds to build a dedicated rescue shed at Rachel’s home to support pregnant mama dogs, newborn puppies, and harder-to-place or higher-needs cases that require a quieter, more controlled environment.

Currently, whelping, neonatal care, and recovery for special-needs dogs all take place inside the home. This can be incredibly challenging when 24/7 monitoring, medical isolation, or reduced stimulation is needed for the safety and well-being of both rescue dogs and resident animals.

This dedicated shed will allow us to:

• Provide a calm, temperature-controlled space for mama dogs to safely whelp and nurse

• Safely house harder cases — including dogs recovering from illness, injury, or trauma — who need a lower-stress, more controlled setting

• Create medical or behavioral isolation when necessary

• Closely monitor puppies and vulnerable dogs during critical care periods

• Increase our ability to say yes to urgent and complex rescue cases

This shed will be used exclusively for Fierce Love Rescue purposes and will be a permanent resource to support our lifesaving work.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Construction materials

• Insulation, heating, and cooling

• Safe, washable flooring and walls

• Whelping and recovery setup supplies
