Support Fern's Journey to Recovery

Hello friends, family & animal lovers.

My name is Kaylea and I am asking for help with funding for my sweet boy Fern’s medical bills.

Fern has recently been experiencing neurological issues that have no explanation. Hyper salivating, disorientation, loss of balance and inappetence for about a week. Him and I have been to the ER 4 times and to his primary care provider 3 times. His “episodes” are on and off throughout the day, he will go back to being his normal happy self and then suddenly it’s like he doesn’t know where he is, what’s up from down anymore. None of the doctors have an explanation for why this is happening. It’s truly out of the ordinary. But I love him dearly and I am willing to do whatever I can to see if I can give him the quality of life he deserves.

Currently, he is staying at the ER awaiting to have an MRI scan. We are also waiting for results from his blood tests to see if we can rule out if this is Liver Shunts or a Neurological issue at the ER. This is costing me a very pretty penny and I am near my end of my savings and my credit card limit.

Many of you know may know Fern, he is a sweet, loving, kind, curious and truly silly boy. Nothing brings me more joy than being able to come home to him at the end of the day and him curling up next to me. If you have the means to help us figure out what’s going on so we can make his life a little longer than just the two short years he’s lived, we would so greatly appreciate it.

i would be happy to provide proof of any estimates and receipts for the things that we have done so far. The MRI estimate sat at $4,300 and doesn’t include any further treatments.
