Hello everyone, for those who do not know me, my name is Cristina. I am creating this GoFundMe to help my aunt, Olivia, pay for my uncle’s (Fernando) medical bills/needs.

Fernando is a humble and funny man who has always put his family first. He has worked tirelessly to care for his daughter and wife, making sure they have what they need. Recently, Fernando suffered a stroke that left the right side of his body paralyzed. He is currently in the hospital receiving therapy, but his journey to recovery is just beginning.

Due to Fernando’s legal status, he does not qualify for insurance, and charity care only covers a portion of his medical expenses. Once he is discharged, he will need frequent therapy sessions, a wheelchair, a lifting machine, and ongoing help with medical bills. We are also considering placing him in a rehab home, where he will have access to all the necessary equipment and care to support his recovery. This has impacted his wife and daughter not only emotionally, but economically as well. The financial burden is overwhelming for his family, and they are facing many challenges as they try to support him through this difficult time.
