I am writing this on behalf of Fernando Ayala and his US citizen wife, Felicia. Together, they have a 2-year-old son. Fernando also has two daughters, a 6-year-old and a 17-year-old. Felicia also has a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old. Fernando is a hardworking father who owns his own plumbing business and owns a home he purchased from the Detroit Land Bank and rehabbed that was just a shell when he started.

Over 2 months ago, Fernando broke his arm, causing him to temporarily be unable to work, and then a few weeks later, he was detained by immigration. Around the same time that Fernando was put in the custody of immigration, Felicia's 12-year-old son was in a serious accident, hospitalized, and went through major surgery. He requires two additional upcoming surgeries.

It has been 2 months that Fernando has been detained, and his wife Felicia has been trying to manage everything on her own, avoiding asking anyone for help. She has sold some of her husband's tools, equipment, and belongings to support paying legal fees, commissary, and provide for all of Fernando's children as well as her own. She herself works part-time and is trying to get as many additional hours as possible while also caring for her toddler, providing medical care for her 12-year-old, taking their toddler to visit his dad when able, taking care of legal matters, and everything else moms are responsible for. Bills are adding up, and things are getting harder while they still fight for his release. On another note, Fernando has never been in trouble before and is injured inside the detention center. He is staying strong to fight for his release, but being separated from his toddler boy has been very hard on him. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

Any help you can offer will help towards the household bills, money for Fernando to get some extra food, make phone calls, get hygiene products, and towards gas money. Funds raised will also help towards bond if granted.
Please help with what you can and pray for his release!
