I’m getting endovascular brain surgery and I need help to cover lingering medical costs, cover my lost earnings, and get through recovery.

A few months ago, my journey started trying to find a way to lessen the burden of my sinus infections, headaches, and congestions with an ENT. We did sleep studies, CT scans with contrast, and camera up my nose… you name it..

Three months later, I ended up consulting a Neurosurgeon about small pits of eroded cranium, swelling of the soft tissue, pressured cerebral-spinal-fluid, pulsating tinnitus, and a lot of blurred vision.

In short, all the pressure that this spinal fluid has put inside my cranium all these years has crushed the traverse sinus veins into really thin passages.

I haven’t had a decent night’s sleep in years, and I just found out that this is reason.

I’ve had 3 CT scans, 2 MRI’s, and a cerebral angio so far. Next week they go in to put a stent in there and correct those veins so they can do their job and drain properly.

Recovery usually takes from 3-4 weeks, depending on the person. Since both my jobs require strenuous use of my head (singing, voice acting, and hash educating), I will likely be recovering for a bit longer while my head takes extra time to adjust.

This fund will help cover any medical costs left after surgery, living costs, and just a bit of options while I can get back to what we do.

My wife and family are doing everything they can to help, but also have to deal with another recent heavy diagnosis in the family that requires long term care.
